Welcome to Coral Tree Cottage
Coral Tree Cottage is a new addition to our accommodation at Sweethome. This cottage was designed to create a more private space for a bride and her entourage to get ready, relax and have their hair and make up done. It is also suitable for the groom and his groomsmen, or a family.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms – a queen room and a twin room. Each room has a mirror and shelf for doing hair and makeup, as well as an area to hang clothes.
These rooms share a large Jack and Jill bathroom (each have access from their rooms), but there is also another toilet on the side of the building. This was designed for service providers to use, as well as for other guests that are visiting you in the cottage.

OUR ACCOMMODATION RATES ARE VALID FROM 1 January 2024 TO 31 December 2024
Rates are self-catering accommodation only.
CHECK-IN after 11h30. CHECK-OUT by 10h30 the following day, unless prior arrangement has been made. On departure please leave the keys in the unit, and close the door.
Payment in full is required to confirm your booking
Full payment is required to confirm your booking. Please note that until payment is received, your booking is not confirmed. Banking details will appear on your invoice
In the event of a cancellation more than 30 days before the date of your stay, all monies paid will be refunded less 10% admin fee (10% of full booking rate).
If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the date of your stay, 50% (50% of full booking rate) will be refunded.
NOTE: NO refunds will be made in the event of cancellation made 7 (seven) days before the booked date of arrival. Ful T&C’s available on request
From Durban
From Durban, take the N3 to PMB
Take the Camperdown/ Eston off ramp
Turn left at the end of the off ramp; continue until you reach a T-junction.
Turn left onto the R603
Travel for approx 16 km, passing Tala Game Reserve and the Eston Club
At the 4-way intersection turn right onto the R624 (Eston/Richmond)
Travel for approx. 800m passing the sugar mill on your left. As the sugar mill fence ends, turn left (Look for the round sign that says “Sweethome Wedding and Functions”, as well as the sign that says Eston Sugar Mill)
Travel down the dirt road for approx. 800m, passing the “Sweethome” wall.
Go over the dam wall and Coral Tree Cottage will be directly in front of you.
From Joburg
From Johannesburg, take the N3 to Durban
Take the Umlaas Rd/ Umbumbulu offramp
Continue on the R603
Travel for approx 18km, passing Tala Game Reserve and the Eston Club
At the 4-way intersection turn right onto the R624 (Eston/Richmond)
Travel for approx. 1km.
The Farm gate will be on your left hand side, sign posted “Hayfields Farm”
Travel down the outside of the electric fence until you reach the workshop gate, turn right and turn immediately right again through the white pillars into the guesthouse parking area

Coral Tree Cottage has two bedrooms. There is a queen room and a twin room. These rooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom.
A separate toilet is also attached to the side of the building.
This cottage has a dressing room with couch and self catering kitchenette

This cottage has a dressing room with “Salon Style counters for Bridal prep” , couch and self catering kitchenette.

There is cell phone signal but it can be intermittent at times
We have a NO smoking inside & a NO pet policy
All units are furnished and are fully equipped with self-catering facilities.

Further Information
The kitchen is equipped with a sink, kettle, microwave, toaster, single plate cooker, as well as pots and pans and cutlery and crockery.
There is a braai area to the side of the cottage, just off the deck, where guests can enjoy a small, private braai.
